Best Junior Handler!

Showing against a full line-up of competitive juniors, Emily and Blossom take top honors under Judge Barbara Ann Brooks. We're so proud of Emily and her overall dedication to Blossom.

 

Roscot Besame Macho (Blossom) with her two best friends, David Healey and Emily Okun at their first AKC show in Fitchburg, MA.

Roscot Kennel is pleased to the start 2007 with an exciting addition to our family. Emily Okun of Canton, MA and her mom and dad, Denise and Barry are the proud new owners of Blossom.

 

Emily is a first-class animal lover and has been involved with dogs and horses. Her interest in Scotties began when she borrowed Ch. Roscot N Starview's Diamond Girl (Millie) to show in Junior Showmanship classes.

 

Emily was born in China and was adopted by the Okuns at the age of 3. She is an honor student at the Norfolk County Agricultural High School and has been recognized with scholastic and leadership awards. She is also active in 4-H and has received a county medal of merit as well as being selected to be a 4-H ambassador. She volunteers at the Massachusetts Hospital School, assisting with horseback riding lessons for handicapped children.

 

Thanks to David Healey, Emily and her family were put together with Blossom. David is helping Emily with grooming. But Emily is taking care of the conditioning and regular care by herself. Just ask Blossom about those daily toothbrushings!
